Health & Safety at Wellburn.

Here at Wellburn, the health and safety of our residents and staff is our top priority.

All our staff receive in-house training in Health & Safety, Infection Control, and Fire Safety, alongside all mandatory training. Additionally, we commission external services to provide specialised training in:

• Infection Control and Biohazard Management

• Safe Use of Machinery and Equipment

• Risk Management

• External Fire Training

• External Health & Safety Audits that exceed our mandatory requirements

• Managers, Deputies, and Directors have also completed the 'What Managers Need to Know About Health & Safety' course.

We partner with Ian Meredith, Managing Director of CIM Associates, to carry out this training across all 14 our homes. CIM Associates is a leading independent, international Health and Safety and HR training consultancy. With over 30 years of Health & Safety experience, some of Ian's qualifications include:

• CSM (Certificate in Safety Management)

• MIIRSM (Member of International Institutes of Risk and Safety Management)

• Level 4 Safety and Security Risk Management

• British Safety Council Diploma

• Tech IOSH (Technical Membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health)

• MBICSc (Member of the British Institute of Cleaning Science)

• Diploma in Site Management Level 1 and Level 2
