Here at family run Wellburn, our staff’s wellbeing is a priority…

Welcome to the home of 365 wellbeing.

At Wellburn we make a bit of a fuss over wellbeing, and we always encourage ourselves and those around us to dedicate time towards its upkeep. We have a raft of initiatives and programmes, all designed to benefit, boost and support our staff’s mental, physical and financial health - and it all lives under the banner of our 365 wellbeing programme.

Benefits we deliver through 365 wellbeing

Now more than ever, mental, physical and financial health are being prioritised in and out of the workplace, and here at Wellburn we invest a lot of time and money into our 365 programme. Throughout a number of initiatives and programmes, it delivers hugely valuable and helpful advice, support and resources to all of our staff.

Let’s take a closer look at some of them.

Our Little book of Wellbeing
Every single member of our staff, whether they’ve been with us for a long time, or they’ve just joined, get a copy of our 365 Little book of Wellbeing. Its content offers lots of useful advice, support and tips on all things wellbeing. Download a pdf version and take a peek at it now!

Regular 365 Wellbeing initiatives
Throughout the year, we embark on a whole raft of individual 365 Wellbeing initiatives to help our staff. From our quarterly Inter-home wellbeing challenges, to celebrating National Caregivers Day. The wellbeing of our staff is at the forefront of our thinking and is at the heart of everything we do for our staff, here at family run Wellburn.

Employee Voice Initiative
Our ‘employee voice’ forum has been created to provide a platform for all Wellburn staff to voice their concerns, share their ideas, and provide feedback to management on matters affecting their work environment, job satisfaction, and overall well-being. The forum is open to all employees, regardless of their position, department, or seniority to act as a representative. The forum will comprise a diverse range of employees representing different backgrounds, skills, and experiences.

The aimed outcome of the forums and our overarching ‘employee voice’ initiative, is to promote more collaboration with management, and to create a more positive, productive and inclusive work culture. But above all, to ensure that the voices of all of our staff are heard and considered. So let’s hear your voices!

365 - Wellbeing 1 to 1 sessions
Our dedicated Wellbeing Support Officer, offers virtual 1-to-1 sessions each and every week. The sessions are there to offer help, guidance and advice on all things wellbeing to all of our staff.

Health Assured
We’ve partnered up with award winning employee assistance programme ‘Health Assured’, to provide our staff with a huge amount of Wellbeing support. Joining the scheme gives our staff access to a vast amount of wellbeing advice, tips and useful content, including a free 24/7 counselling, legal and information line.

Wellburn Post
Our quarterly magazine is full of news, views, features, competitions and so much more, including a dedicated 365 wellbeing section. The wellbeing section offers hints, tips, articles and a retail therapy page full of the latest wellbeing products on the market. To view the current and previous issues click below:

The Post and 365 newsletters
Here at family run Wellburn, we think communication is key and we like to keep our staff updated as much as possible. Our monthly staff newsletter is packed full of lovely stuff, including news, views and competitions. We also have regular 365 newsletters too, with lots of wellbeing tips and help to improve physical, mental and financial health.

Ask.
It’s our impartial judgment free space - completely separate from our homes, so that each and every member of staff can be sure that whatever it is, their Ask will remain confidential and is there with one aim in mind - to help them, no matter how big or small their Ask is. Making sure they get the right support and help, or the right advice each and every time.

The Halo Awards
Our staff recognition awards give our staff, their colleagues, residents and their loved ones the opportunity to nominate a member of staff, who they feel has gone above and beyond what’s expected of them. To explore our Halo Award more or to cast a nomination click below:

Menopause Champion
Here at Wellburn we recognise the importance of raising awareness, providing a space to feel comfortable talking about it, and offering support to all of our staff, who are going through both perimenopause and menopause. Our Menopause Champion is on hand to support any of our staff in a non-judgemental, supportive and understanding environment.

Cycle to Work scheme
We’re part of the fantastic Cycle to Work scheme, which enables all of our staff to make huge savings on a new bike, and even allows them to spread the cost over a period of time that suits their finances. Enabling them and their colleagues to get on their bikes and do something good for themselves and our planet.

Tech Salary Exchange
Our Tech Salary Exchange scheme, gives all of our staff the opportunity to make huge savings on the latest tech, and like the Cycle to Work scheme, it allows them to spread the remaining cost too. So if they’re looking at that latest Apple laptop, tablets, PC’s or software, the scheme could set them on their way to tech happiness.
